Still Lookin...

for a 56 F100. Had a smokin deal on eBay for one <2.5 hours s of me. $1500.00 no reserve. Dood canceled the auction before it ended so he didn't have to sell. Guess he thought it was gonna go for more. Some people really **** me off...

For some reason, the usual lot of trucks for sale has really gone down. I'd keep looking you'll find one - everything happens for a reason!

Took me a year of searching to find my '56, it's well worth the wait and effort.

Might post a want ad regularly on craigslist, a lot of people have stuff they don't post for sale. It's how I got my trucks bed...

Let me know fish... I prefer the 56s over any other year. Don't care if it's big or small window. Don't even care if it runs. Engines/trannies and axles are easy to come by.

I have a friend who would like to sell his '56 small window. It's a nearly complete project with a real nice body but needs paint & interior. Has MII front suspension, Lincoln Versaille rear on a 4 bar, '93 Mustang 5.0 and AOD trans and on & on. PM me if interested.

I'd really be patient and get something that you really feel good about - not the first thing that you can find!

That patience will pay off - believe me!

Keep a eye out also for the bigger trucks, you can use the basic cab and get everything new which IMO cheaper in the long run than rebuild everything. On the other hand it feels great when you do everything yourself from the original truck. Good Luck. Walford had that red 56 that I sold him and other than the roof it was a very solid cab check with him. Great guy to deal with.

Unfortunately NO. The day I saw this.. I got some very potentially bad news from work. Looks like my company isn't getting our contract re-signed for next year. So, have to put a hold on projects and hope to stay alive for the next bit. Even decided to sell off my 72 Bronco project.
