Only one question, do you really need grade 8 hardware to mount a filter???
I would like to do the coolant filter, but I'm guessing the damage that is going to happen to my engine has already been done by now at 250k miles. But It could help it get to 300k.
Pop does got a nice writeup and I would have done it that way, gather the parts myself, its more gratifying but time was a problem for me so I went with Dieselsites setup. As in this pic of mine, I don't need no shutoff valves when I gotta change the filter, because its above the waterline if you know what I mean. Anything mounted below that will need those shutoff valves but their relatively cheap..
