trickle charger ?
their is suppose to be a battery charger where you keep a permanat wire attatched to your battery and when you pull into your garage you plug it into the charger quick and easy
anybody know what those are called and where to get one?

Agree. I have one hooked to the Optima battery in my hauler trailer. Plug it in (trailer is wired for AC with a jack on the outside) when we get home and forget about it until next time. It was plugged in all winter.
For your truck, you could wire the battery to remote jumper terminals or a quick connect in a handy but hidden location and plug the battery minder into that when parked.

Mine is like this one, has a fixed charger end, and a plug-gable vehicle end.
I have the fixed end attached to the truck, and just connect the cables when in the shop.
I put a solar trickle in the trailer, and will probably get another one of these for the connector end to hook the car to the solar trickle charger..

I bought a Ctek charger, link below. I've been very happy with. Its a pulse charger, and its suppose to help with sulfated batterys.

Die Hard 28-71219 -available at Sears. It provides 2 amp for 12 volt, 4 amp for 6 volt - fully automatic - checks and maintains a proper charge. There is a permanent mount for fast connect. This one is versatile and works on everything I own.
