Hey guys, just spotted am 2008 f350 6.4 sc short bed xlt 4x4 with 25k for $31,900 asking......is that a good deal? what would you all offer?

 

Hard to say without knowing a lot more information about the truck. Trim level? Options?

Generally it sounds like a good deal. Is this truck a lemon law return, a rental return or was it used by a little old lady in P-town to go to church every Sunday?

 

it looks like a basic xlt package. i did a carfax, one owner for 2 1/2 years, second owner was a lease and got it repoed in 30 days. so basically its been driven for under 3 out of four years.....what would you guys offer??

 

First things here. Have you looked at it in person? Any pictures of the truck? We need pictures of the tail pipes and the engine bay.

Have you looked over the radiator carefully?

Radiators, EGR and the DPF are items that need to be looked at. If they check out ok then proceed with driving the truck and seeing how it performs.

I think closer to around 28K myself.

 

what about an 06 with 15k xlt sc asking $29,900???

I paid something slightly more than the core charge for the 6.0 and transmission for my 2005 6.0

It is nice, but for a extended cab, with just the stock rims, short bed and without knowing much else I think way overpriced. I think much close to 25K. But will still need some inside pics to see what options.

It does have the tow mirrors, but what about the TBC?

TBC= Trailer brake controller. I see it just below your HVAC controls. No upfitter switches.

Bench seat vs captains chairs with center console. Looks clean big plus.
