Shortblock Gurus, Help!
Well, it's not a 351C/351M/400M, but I need the expertise of some of you guys on this. My friend is competing in a road racing series, where they limit displacement to 3.5 liters, and he has a 3.0 liter V6. They don't limit compression, or fuel, so I advised him to stroke his engine and give it 14:1 compression...
He needs rods between 5" and 5.5", so I figure 5.0 rods would be the best choice for this, and easy enough to fit, considering he's going to buy a custom crank (yeah, I know). The problem is finding pistons that will fit, and I'm at a loss here.
He has a 3.6" bore, can anyone think of pistons that will work for this application? I'm stumped.
