Throwing Codes

I just finished doing the GT40 mod. Engine runs great but is throwing some codes.

565 - Canister Purge Solenoid Circuit Fault

172 - O2 sensor, Lean

332 - Insufficient EGR Flow

I had to extend a lot of wires during this mod. I extended the wires to each of three above. I soldered in extensions. Maybe this added some resistance and caused the codes?

Could a Vacuum leak or wrong size Vac tube cause the 332?

What would cause the 172 besides a bad O2?

I had no codes before the Mod.

565 did you connect it?

The next two, yea a vac leak/problem could cause both of them.

How is the idle speed? A leak, a large one will cause the motor to idle higher then it should. A small leak can be enough to prevent the EGR valve from opening fully.

Yours is Mass Air Flow using a DPFE type system?

Only way to know on the wire extension, measure for sensors "in range" of specified but unless you added several feet of wire to em I doubt it being the problem. Unless of course you got a tad confused and crossed a circuit during the process.

Yeah I connected the purge solenoid, but the retaining clip on the connector broke off so I connected it and taped around the connection so it wouldn't come apart. Maybe this could cause a bad connection.

The Idle doesnt seem to be high. I sprayed around the Vac connections with some carb cleaner, didn't notice anything though. Is there an easy way to check the vac system? Do I need to get a vac pump.
