Hesitsation woes FIXED!!!
So after all that messing around it was still the accelerator pump. All this time I had been looking down into the carb and seeing the jets of fuel whenever I pumped the gas so I figured that something other else was wrong. As it turns out the carb which I rebuilt a few months ago was working just fine but I had not adjusted the accelerator pump correctly. In the mean time I had replaced just about everything you could replace on the engine that might affect the running of the engine. The truck runs so well now that I am forgetting that she is 35 years old and just enjoying the ride. She still needs a lot of work. Still needs the transmission to be rebuilt and could do with a new steering box and rods but we'll get to that. At least I got her running right.
