So I am planning to start setting some money aside for some accseories for my truck. Background info; 09 f-150 screw in blue flame with a 2" AS level kit.

I have been checking out the bushwacker fender flares and am liking the extend a fender or the smaller version of the pocket flares. With this I am looking at putting on some bigger tires but am uncertain of a size. I do not want to change to much from stock but would like to fill the wheel well a little more and add some width. I am leaning towards possibly a 325/60/18.

If any of you have pics of different tires on your truck please post em, and if you have the bushwackers again please post pics. I would love to see some pics for visual purposes.

Please post opinions.

I'm really liking those tires the more I see them. Do they stick out the side much? Would fender flares work with that size or just look silly?

Well I think it would depend on the offset/back spacing of the wheel you go with. My offset is not that bad on my wheels so the fender flares IMO would be a little over kill as my wheels only stick out a little bit.

Not sure but my guess would be no. I think the biggest I would go on stock rims would be a BFG AT 305/65/18. I had that size on my 2004 F150 and it looked great. THey are actually a little taller that the 325/60/18 but not as wide.

Well on my truck I did 275-70-18 which is a little bigger than 33's which fit nice on stock rims, I can't post pics right now since I'm on my phone but just look in my photo album and it's also blue flame

It is not the height I was worried about it was the width of the 325...the 325/60 is almost 13" wide and I think the stock rim is 7.5". That is why I suggested the 305/65 that would give him a tire that is over 12" wide and over 33" tall.

Do you have any rubbing issues with your tires? if so how much and where did you trim? almost forgot, did you put a leveling kit in the front or no?

These are the flares I was intersted in. How much backspacing might I have to do with 305/60/18?

Those look real nice. With the larger tires, it really makes the truck look tough. I like the smooth ones on the red truck a little better. Looks more factory.

The 305/60 and 305/65 would fit on you stock rims so whatever stock rim backspacing is. I think it is like +30 or something like that.

If you want the tire to stick out further so you can get the flares and make it look good I would imagine you would need a wheel with like 0 to a negative number like -12. But that is going to be personal preference. To me a truck with fender flares that has the tire like 3" inside the flare looks silly and pointless.

No rubbing at all and no leveling kit

I had 305 70 18 on my last 05 f150 which rubbed with a leveling kit but if you look I think most 305 wide tires call for a 9 inch rim
