No Ac

Ok guy's I know nothing about the AC in our trucks, last year the AC worked fine, well it got hot enough for the AC this weekend, and when I fired it up only hot air.

Any thing special I should look for? My first thought is it needs a re-charge if so can I do this my self or should I be looking for other issues.

First you need to do a pressure check on the A/C system
We don't know yet if it may be electrical or what
Need to check for voltage and ground at the clutch also

Do you know where I can find info on how to do those checks & what tools I might need? I have no understanding of AC units at all.

The easiest check to do is verify that the compressor is running. Pop the hood with the truck running and a/c on high and the compressor should be running constantly. If its cycling off and on, something is up and needs servicing.
