Its FINALLY done!
Hello,
Its been a while since I posted here. A while back now I posted asking about putting an early 429 timing set into a later 460 to increase mileage and power. Thanks to everyone who answered that link.
Well that 460, as I described, was in a 1978 F-150 custom that had been stored for 25 years. We just finished the full restoration after its storage. It runs and drives great and I love it. However, back in February I rolled my commuter car ('07 Focus SES) and am now in a situation were I have to sell this truck to ofset the cost of replacing my main vehicle. Very nice truck! Congrats on finishing it. Your truck almost looks like a twin to mine!
Mine is about 90% restored and I've lost interest and ran out of money! I've been trying to sell her but no one's buying down here in FL.
