Hi All,
I just bought a '72 F100 standard bed (w/302) and it needs an exhaust. The PO put a dual system on and the glasspacks are rotten so I'd just as soon replace the whole thing from the manifolds back. Question is, can I get a good deal ordering a complete system online? Any ideas where I should look?
Alternately, I can have the local exhaust shop weld in a couple mufflers for me - probably be about $200 - $250 judging off what I've paid there in the past.
Thanks!
I would at least call up some of the local exhaust guys in your area and see what they would charge. I found a good old boy out here in Liberty Hill, TX that replaced my whole dual exhaust with Flow Master for $350.00. They are sweeeetttt... Best of luck - James.
You need to call around glass packs are cheap, if thats what you want, and it will save you the hassle of welding up all the joints and fitting every thing your self. I had all new pipes and flowmasters installed for 300 bucks. With glasspacks sould be around 200. don't use those slip and clamp joints they will leak alot faster.
Walker exhaust is available thru their dealers. I bought the crossover and passenger y for my 390 from oreillys. They have from the manifold to the tailpipe.
