banks turbo oil leak
Just got back from the 6 day memorial day weekend camping trip and the 80 mile drive there i noticed that the pyro was reading way higher than normal. I was only towing about 2500lbs and 500lbs in the bed and it was nothing for me to hit 1200 degrees going up the hills at 65mph in 5th gear. I have towed much heavier on this same route and never went above 1000 degrees. when we got to our destination i opened the hoop and noticed that the back side and lower left side of the turbo had lots of oil leaking on it. I have no idea if it is an oil return line or what. I was hoping maybe somebody had a picture of theirs and could explain to me what is what since i don't know turbos to well.

the bands sidewinder non waste-gated turbo takes it's oil intake from under the turbo where the stock oil pressure sending unit should be.
the oil outlet comes out of the turbo with a steel tube that goes into the valley where the CDR valve was stock. it is very possible that the turbo oil seal is leaking.
