Stopped yesterday at my tire place to make sure that he has the tires in stock and to set up a time to get them. Prices went up as of 6/1, but only about $5 per tire so that is not too bad. I get them installed on Saturday.
Trey, same size as what I have had on it (265/75R16) but I am switching from a LT tire to a P tire. I do not need the load capacity of the LT's on a 150. Heck the axles would snap before I exceeded the load capacity of the LT. Plus they work out to be around $80 less for the entire set.
and Trey they are a 60K mile AT that has some decent tread to them. I need something to get me around in the snow, but I do get off road once and awhile with some fire department calls so I want to make sure that I do not get stuck.
neil, you should check out Kelly's Safari Trac tire. its what i use on my explorer, and ive never had traction issues with em, and with 20k on em, they seem to be wearin very evenly. great on snow and ice, and are quiet as a mouse.
