Borg Warner T-case questions
Is the Borg Warner 1356 transfer case chain driven or gear driven? What is its reputation like good? bad? tough? weak? I'm leaning towards swapping a NP205,but I'm willing to hold off if the bw 1356 isn't inherently weak

1356 is 2.7:1 in low range, chain drive, very tough
NP205 is 1.96:1 in low range, gear drive, very very tough, smaller
The 205 will move your driveshaft over a few inches and could interfere with headers, etc. Your front driveshaft will get shorter, and your rear will get longer.
