Starting issues
I have a 1992 Bronco, 5.0, E4OD tranny and 217k miles that is having trouble starting. About 90% of the time it won't start on the first try. I can hold the ignition in the start position indefinitely and it won't even attempt to fire. It turns over fine, but no fire. On the times it doesn't start right away(within 2-3 seconds), I can turn the key off and try again and it starts immediately 100% of the time. It doesn't matter if it has been sitting over night, just started 5 minutes beforehand, just shut off long enough to fill up with gas, etc. Almost every single time, start it for 2 seconds, turn it off then start it again and it starts. It has brand new plugs, wires, coil, TPS and starter. Anyone have any ideas?
