CD only plays certain music?
I ordered the hi-end audio system...I am a little confused on function of this unit........the FM just plays 60's/70's/rock........and country..........the CD unit just puts out Hendrix, Stones, Zeppelin,.......etx...........AM........just Rush L...........is this working as expected , or did I get a lemon, anyone having these problems??..........thx Dan / ft lost in the 70's

I just bought an '03 Super Duty with the premium sound system and mine works great. Won't play country music, skips right over it. It even ejects country CD's when passengers try to load them. If I could only hook the stereo to the alarm to warn me of bad music...

CD only plays certain music?
It's amazing what they do with electronics nowadays, especially this Personalized Audio System that Ford has come up with. Using personality sensors throughout the interior, PAS gradually detects what kind of driver is inhabitating the truck, and adjusts the stereo accordingly. Sensing my Democratic tendencies, my radio only plays Barbra Streisand, along with the collected speeches of Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, and the biography of William Jefferson Clinton. A passenger tried tuning in Rash Limbo, but the truck blew three fuses and the brakes locked up. Guess Ford still has a few bugs to work out........

yeah, ever notice those winers are all democrats..........my radio mutes all democratic babble..........ford know's a better idea when they see one!!!
