i knew there was a reason i was going to paint my truck black, lol. Its interesting seeing the soot fly when you are dumb and dont cover the stack in a rain storm. hahaha. I am drilling the 1/8" hole today at the base of the elbow and looking into a stack cover like the small cap or sock type. The idea i have for now is a 4 inch piece of capped PVC and painting it flat black to match. Just something to keep the rain out of it. Fun part about the stack is watching the rubberneckers around here, i am one of like two trucks with a stack in the lower island area. Not very popular but they can cause accidents i believe, this guy was looking at it and nearly rearended the car in front of him. hahah
