motor mounts
Looking to replace the motor mounts on my 79 f- 250 4x4. Napa is showing 1st design and 2nd design . The 2nd design's rubber surface area is a lot larger and has the fail safe feature . This truck is a factory six truck. The engine I pulled out is a 75 model with the smaller 1st design motor mounts . Some other parts places are only showing the 2nd design. I know both mounts are interchangeable, just wandering if the motor height will be effected that much before I install the new motor. Already bought the mounts from bronco graveyard (2nd design, the only style they carry for our motors) before I knew the motor coming out of my truck has the1st design. Anybody else experience this?
