Power steering whine
I have a 2001 f250, as i was doing my front breaks i dry steered the front in order to get to the caliper bolts. After doing this i noticed a small puddle of fluid on the ground. After an inspection under the hood i noticed that the power steering cap was pop up on one side and fluid was all wet around it. I finished the break job and checked the fluid level all fine. I went around the block testing to make sure the breaks were all good and as i drove i noticed a whine from when i hit the breaks and turned the wheel. I got back and the fluid was a little foamy. Could i have gotten air in the power steering and will it eventually go away or do i have to purge it somehow. Any adivce will be great.
