Ok i have a couple of things planned for my truck in the very near future. I took my BA Brushguard off this afternoon and while i had the bumper off i thought i would go ahead and put spacers in behind the bumper for a lil "extra room". Looked around the carport and couldn't find anything that would work. Do you guys have any suggestions.
I need approx. 1" to 1 1/2"
How about a 2x4 LOL, JK- I'd say use stacked up washers, or got to Lowes or HD and look for spacers, or root through the hardware bins, I'm sure you'll find somthing. Of course the best thing to use would be a flat steel bar drilled out for the bolts, but that's overkill
Get some big nuts my friend. Then get these big springs I got laying down here LOL.
Wow JD that is some great advice!!
Actually I think i am going tomorrow and get longer bolts. Then take it by a buddies machine shop. And have him cut me 4 bushings.
I appreciate the offer on the springs but I am going to have to pass. I am working on a completely different set up now. BIG changes in the near future!!!
Thanx anyway.
Neal, did i happen to leave my old front tow hooks at your house? I can't find those d@** things anywhere!!!!!
