A/C Problems
It has been in the mid 80's and very humid the past couple of days where I live. Turned the A/C on and it blows ice cold for about 5 min. Then it stops blowing cold for about 5 min.(it is still blowing air but it is not cold), then the whole cycle starts all over again. I am guessing the compressor is working fine cause it works sometimes? Or is it low and freezeing up on me, and when it thaws out it starts to work again. The A/C system worked fine last year. Any help or suggestions would be great.
P.S. Has anyone bought the refigerant from like Autozone and done it yourself? Does this work okay or do I just need to take it to somebody to have them charge it?
