Headlight Gremlins, need some help

Hey everyone. My recently aquired 1990 F350 has some sort of headlight gremlin. Both of my hi beams aren't working. I've checked both bulbs and they are fine. I even went out to my local parts store and bought a new set, installed them, and still no hi-beams. I don't even get a hi-beam indicator on the dash. I've done some searches and have seen that it could be the dimmer switch, but I just wanted to clarify, and see if there are any other ideas as to what it can be. This is the only problem holding me back from passing NJ inspection. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

I would say it is the dimmer switch OR the wiring going to it. Check the plug to make sure it is not rusty/corroded or just cruddy in general from water or mud..

Most likely your problem is going to be the switch..

It was the dimmer switch. $7.99 at the local auto store. Thanks
