Why no 1998 7.3 section?

I had a 1998 7.3 F-250 several years ago, great truck and engine but noticed there is no specific section for 1998. One section stops at 1997 and the other takes up at 1999..

Because there never really was a 1998.

The 99's were produced in early 98 and released early.

Ford occasionally does that.
98 was the changeover year for the heavier trucks. I'm not sure why they dont call the trucks that year a 98, but thats how they do it.

Though, you can have some fun with the 99's, like you had, where basically it was our truck in here, the OBS with a different body.

I looked hard for one when I was trying to find a truck. I like the super duty shell.

Bumping head well duh now i remember you are exactly right..I really loved that truck but needed a dually to haul 36'5th wheel. So far love my 2005 6.0 59,000 miles and just a bad FICM under warranty.

Just the way you won't see a 2010 6.7 PSD, even though they started being made on Jan. 1st, I think.
