i beleive there is a "manual 4x4 delete" option on every truck if your custom ordering ?

have you tried building it on the ford website ?

p.s. i beleive teh 4x4 SOTF system is standard, has been for awhile, thats why the maunal is called a "delete" option.. cuz your actualy deleting the SOTF system.

Thanks for the replys! I talked to a Ford dealer this afternoon they said your can not change Electronic shift for manual if you order Lariet Pkg.
Seems strange that they force you to get the dash control - i really prefer the manual shift

You can always order the manual shift and order all the stuff that comes with the certain lariat package you want, and not necessarily click lariat package. just a thought. Write down what all comes in the certain package order all of that individually along with the manual shift

When I was ordering my 2010, I was totally disguisted at some of the stupid limitations on ordering option combinations. I wanted the two tone paint, but had to get some kind of convenience package first. But I couldn't get the 6 speed stick with the convenience package. Makes no sense. The dealer told me to take it to a body shop and have the bottom painted the two tone color. My, thats a great idea!!!

One dealership sales manager got mad at me because they had the exact truck I wanted EXCEPT for the electronic shift 4x4, and I refused to even talk price.

Oh well, I ordered what I wanted, got my 6 speed, manual 4x4 and a nice XLT package, so I'm happy.
