hey guys, what's up. i just got back into the old trucks for the first time in years. i scored a 78 bronco for cheap and it crapped out on the way home. the carb is junk, truck sat for 8 years, i got it to run good enough for a few miles, but it wasn't happy about it. i believe the factory carb is a 4150. it is a 2bbl 351m. i was just wondering if any of you guys are near north central illinois and have a ford 2bbl carb in decent shape that you would like to sell for cheap. i have never rebuilt a carb before, and would much rather just get a cheap replacement, because i will be going 4bbl and aluminium intake as soon as possible, so if you have a 4bbl intake and carb you want to get rid of, i might be interested in those too. any help is appreciated, and i don't want any whiners saying this is in the wrong section, so cork it. oh, and for those that were reading my thread about getting a 78 shortbed, that deal fell through.

What the "whiners" will tell you is that you'll get a lot more visibility by posting this in the want-ads, because people browse that section looking to get rid of parts. In other words, you're much more likely to run into someone trying to get rid of a carburetor in that section than you would here (not that you wouldn't).
