Amsoil bypass filter update
I ended up ordering the single filter kit and a two quart filter. It ended up costing me a little over two hundred dollars with the prefered customer discount that costs twenty dollars a year and I still saved about $50. I have been running this truck for about three years with the factory filter and have changed my oil every 1000 mile. it is usually pretty black by then. I have have about 1500 miles on this oil change and the oil still looks new! I use rotella 15w40 mineral oil and it looks like I will be able to get my moneys worth out of it before I change it. Yhe install was easy and looks pretty heavy duty mounted on the firewall. I wish I would have done this three years ago.
