recently replaced my plugs at 90,000 miles. followed the TSB word for word, I still broke off five! I didn't think they broke off though because all five of them just spun but wouldn't come out so I thought that the threads where striped on them but it turns out they needed to be broken and then use the lisle tool. I hired a mobile mech to come pull them and fix the threads originally. he screwed me and charged 700 dollars to just break 5 of them off and then pull them. I could have done it myself, but I didn't want to send him packing after I realized how simple it was. wish I would have now! anyways if anyone knows anything about a recall, or a number to call for another voice to let ford know how unhappy I am with the situation please let me know. at least the truck still runs, and I didn't give ford a dime to fix a problem they should recall!
I also wanted to comment on the autolite spark plugs "the ones that are a solid plug and wont break" not sure if they actualy won't break, but if you are lookig for better performance out of them don't get your hopes up because i am getting about a mile to the gallon less and it idles kinda rough! anyways good luck if you haven't done this yet.
