Need Help Locating Wiring Harness
I am in the process of installing a trailer brake controller in my 1995 E-350. I can see the plug and wiring harness bolted to the bumper so I know I have it. What I am trying to find is the harness under the dash that I plug the adapter into that connects to the controller. The instructions say its on the left side of the steering column, but so is everything else. I don 't see any loose or unconnected plugs that look remotely close to the one that is supposed to plug into this adapter. Could it be tied up out of the way or plugged into a dummy harness to keep it out of the way? I'm just too tired to keep looking tonight.

Nevermind. I followed the harness from the back up to where it connects to the plug under the drivers seat right by the brake proportioning valve. I can see where the larger orange, blue and black/green striped wires go in on the corners. But they do not continue on the other side of the plug. Nice. So basically the plug and everything on mounted on the bumper was for looks. A little redundant it seems.
