Computer Code?
Appreciate all the info you provided on my previous post. I have decided to get a Diablo Chip and now need to find my code. I found a small box under the dash on the driver's side that I believe is the computer. There is no stickers on the outside however. It appears to be a silver box with a black plastic housing. Can you tell me where to look for the code? 2001 F-250 Superduty V-10. Thanks.

I am not sure, but with the V10 engine there should be a small white label on the driver's side front doorpost between the hinges. It will be three letters followed be one number. etc. "WOM3".

1. Sticker on driver side door frame near the hinges.
2. Drivers side kick panel, bolted to the park brake assembly. There are two 7mm bolts holding the black plastic cover on the ECU. Remove the 2 bolts and tilt the ECU towards the accelerator pedal. The cover will slide off of the ECU towards the back of the truck. Under this cover is a black plastic plug, covering the diagnostic port. The code will be on a small white sticker.
