Longer Cranking Time?!
Ok, so heres my dilema...I got my 99 F350 sc lb PSD 2 weeks ago and it started up fine...turn the key wait for the start light to go out and boom it would start right up.....but now sometimes it will start right up and mostly it will take a little while for it to start....it will crank for about two seconds and sound like its starting so i let off the key and no go....i try it again does the same thing but i give it a little gas and it starts right up. Any ideas?

Try changing the CPS? Have you been noticing any difference in the way the truck idles? How's your oil?
that's what I was thinking, maybe the IRP is acting up, maybe the connection is loose.

Yeah i have noticed a differance when it idles when it first starts up it sounds fine but after running it there is a slight ticking sound almost a knock. I had my mechanic check it out and he cant find out where its coming from.
What and where is that? ( I'm new to the diesel scene)
