I got me a set of 02-04 headlights to replace my old 99-01 lights. How difficult are these to replace? I also picked up some oem fog lights. Will these mount on my truck that did not originally come with fogs? I tried to search the forum for answers but keep getting errors. Thanks in advance.
The headlight replacement isn't too bad. The turn signal lights just remove some screws below the lights. Remove the wiring from the headlight and it pulls out (takes some pulling sometimes).
The foglights will likely be more tricky. Unless your headlight switch will pull out 1/4" when you have the headlights on, you'll need a new switch and to play with some wires to make the fog lights work. I changed out the headlight switch and tapped into a wire to make my fog lights work.
In his thread though he didnt take out the up and down adjuster....to remove it I used a 9/16" socket on the backside where the tabs are...wiggle it around a little bit and it will pull right out....Its alot easier than I tought it would be to put them in.
Hope this helps
Thanks for the help guys. I have them installed, but the right side headlight is a little loose. What could be wrong? Also do I need to remove the bumper to install the fog lights? Thanks.

Im not sure about the fog light question I didnt put those on my truck....but with the headlight just make sure the adjuster slid in where it was suppose to and make sure those two clips that hold the headlight in are tight and didnt pop off...if it where my guess though i think it might have to do with the clips.

I went out and double checked. The clips are on correctly and the adjuster is in correctly also. The lights have a bit of side to side play to them.
