Over Head Console
How accurate is the data in the over head console. Been watching my average miles per gal just wanted to know if it is accurate. It's been at 19mpg for a while and today it was at 18.9mpg.

My truck is basically stock, and the overhead display reads within a mpg or two of what it actually is (most of the time!)
I never use that for any actual purpose though, when I want to know my real mpg, I fill the tank right up to the brim, mark the miles off, redo that over the span of a week or two, do the math, and take the average!

that's been my observation too. On stock setting, it is pretty close to accurate, but on 80E it is about 5 mpg long...
