BOOST PRESSURE
I just got my truck back from having blown head gaskets. But stock is not my thing so I am now running the following setup:
ATS aurora 4000 turbo
EDE 225cc Injectors
FASS lift pump and regulator ( factory lift pump deleted )
EGR delete
Head Studs and Fire Rings ( Ported Heads, manifolds, and intake )
AEM water/meth injection ( running just water )
Cooling crossover lines
Aims Oil bypass filter system
fluid dampner
K&N Intake
200 amp alternator
4" Exhaust straight out
180 degree thermostat
SCT LiveWire tuned by elite diesel engineering
Fox Custom Transmission
Now here is the problem after all the mods they wrote me som new tunes for the new setup. After installing the tunes the truck runs like sh#t, if you hold it to the floor the livewire only reads 33 psi, which cant be right. So I took the hot wire off the map sensor and jumped it to the signal wire, and looked at the livewire to see what the computer saw for boost and it was 33 psi. So i'm wondering if the computer can only see 33 34 psi. Saying that I'm trying to figure out if it retarding the timing or something to try and get the boost down.
I have tried to talk to that Tadd at Elite several times and nothing. So if anyone has any info or maybe someone who can tune it RIGHT, please let me know.
