Hub lock Problems????
After replacing my rotors, pads, calipers (witch needed replaced), and all the hardwere that goes with the brakes. They still make a griding noise when i come to a stop in my 2000 F250 7.3L. The noise comes from the driver side. When I pull out It acts like the driver side brakes are still engaged even though my foot isnt on the pedal. After i go down the road a little it stops and there is no noise. I had my wife push and let off the brake pedal while I watched the pads they engaged and let off when they should. So for kicks I tried to pull the Hub lock off. I couldnt get it to budge. The passenger side I had to pull hard but I could get it to come off. The only conclusion I came to was that it had to be the Pulse Vacum Hub lock Solenoid or the Vacume its self. Can some one steer me in the right direction. Any Help is greatly appreciated.

When you reach back behind the tire, can you hand turn the stub shaft? You may have a stuck 4x4 hub. There was a thread a few days ago about a stuck on hub, that was finally taken offeith bp blaster and a mallet. The hub internalls where totally rusted, giving him lots of grinding issues. You might want to start there. Guzzle also has a thread on his site for a relube of an auto hub, and a nice video of a manual hub on here a few days ago. Use your search feature.
