Just for what it's worth, my reactor pump was a $19.99 special Clearwater Centrifugal pump (1/2 hp). It died after 615 gallons of Bio made. Found a 1 hp pump for $62.99 and will hopefully get more life out of it. Some of the oil that I got was rather thick, so I think it was just too much of a load on the pump. I am thinking that I need to tell that supplier that I just can't use his oil ...
Another Clearwater. This one is 1 hp instead of 1/2 hp. Would think the extra grunt would keep it from being overloaded like the other one. Input and discharge ports are the same size as the old one, so it should plug right in.
I didnt even know that Harbor Frieght dealt in pumps, good to know if I need a back-up! LOL! Northern tool, I like their products in other areas, but I wish their pricing wasnt so high on some products.. I will have to check out the pricing they have for theirs!
