question about junkyard find
i went to the junkyard the other day and found an original build sheet in an old 71 truck. i was wondering if these were rare and if they may be worth anything??
and by the way, the guy at the junkyard has about 6 trucks from this model and said he will give me anything that i can get off of them right before he crushes them (switches or motors and things)

In my opinion the only person the build sheet has any value for would be the current or prospective owner. Yiu can get in touch with Ford and they will send you the build sheet info for your vehicle - free for the asking.
On those vehicles he's gonna crush - there isn't a 68 tailgate with no significant damage or rust, is there?

Pull the engines man!! Find anything good you can on 'em, you could make some serious $$$ here! I wish I was that lucky. If you have a truck of that vintage, replace all the bad stuff on yours, and use it to haul all the stuff you get. You wont regret it. I would part the engines all out and sell 'em on ebay.

im gonna get all of the parts that i can for sure, but im gonna keep them all i believe. you never know when you may need them. right now i already have a whole spare truck just full of parts ive got from the junkyards around here.

How far from pittsburgh is this junkyard? Hmmmm I could use a bed, a couple dashpads, I need more pick and pull yards around here. I only know of 2 within 30 miles. I'm on a first name name basis with the owners. Is that good or bad?

ive got the only 69 grille in mine. the rest of the grilles are 70's models and not good. there was one good one and ive already got it too. its a long way from pitsburgh
