help! Starter fuse??
Hey guys I got an 89 f150 with the 460 swapped in. Is there a fuse to the starter? I just went to start my truck and when i turned it to start it it made a little sound like it started to begin turning it over then stopped. Now it wont turn over. When i turn the key to on everything comes on, gauges, fuel pump primes, lights, etc but the starter wont turn over now. Any ideas? Is there a fuse that is linked to the starter that could have blown?

There is no fuse for the starter, either the starter,the solenoid or the nuetral safety swith is bad or its not in the correct starting gear did you try wiggling the gear shift lever? Also try jumping the ignition swith by connect the battery positive to the solenoid terminal that leads to the starter.
