Where can i get the pulley to go in place of the ac compressor?

you can put a new compressor clutch on a junk compressor and not plug it in.

Yeah. Its not like there's any extra drag when its off, and if you're worried when about it turning on when its on defrost, simply unhook the wire at the compressor and it won't anymore. Sucks trying to defog those windows without a/c though....
