Carb problems
I have a 1980 F-150. I put a 77 Merc 460 in it with a 4350 4BBL carb. The carb has been rebuilt twice, but both times, it takes way in too much fuel. It chokes and sputters like it is drowning. As it runs out from the supply jug, it purrs great for about 15 seconds until the bowl is dry. Could the fuel pump be bad? Any Ideas? Optional Carbs? I don't want to spend more than I have to.
