My moms explorer needs help
ok guys this may be a dumb ques but i need some help. i think its that batt but when my mom gets in her explorer to start it sometimes it will crank and then shut off. then today it did that and then the gauges all went to the pass side and back down then click click click. no start. hit the cables and still nothing. sat for a while and kept tryin till i got lucky. what could this be thanks in advance

Cables.. I dont know what the deal is with the factory batt cables, but they are aweful! Same issue here on my 95. Replaced the cables, no issues after.
PS: That positive cable, its longer then heck! You cant use an autozone generic off the shelf!
