ok so when i click on someones user name and click go to gallery it doesnt work right. it shows up with a gallery page listing the gallery info like name and year and stuff but it wont let me do anything and there are no pictures. anybody have any ideal what could be causing this problem as i like looking at pictures.
Hmmmm. The galleries seem to be fairly sensative to different programs and glitches. Mine used to shut down Internet explorer everytime I used to try to open them.
Question, have you downloaded the right "JAVA" program to view the pictures. Not sure which one it is now, but I think yo have to do that in order to see the pictures.
Hummmmmm No problems for me, I just looked at your gallery Vern. Hopefully you will figure it out. My cable provider furnishes Norton Anti-Virus software that update automatically and sometimes it will create problems for me. But if you can see the gallery's from the top of the forum then looks like you should be able to see the gallery's from here. Someone computer smart will come along with an answer I'm sure.
If you're using Internet Explorer, be sure you have the latest update (I.E. 8.x.x)
And ensure that you have the latest JAVA (virtual machine) installed. Java usually tells you when it wants to update itself if installed.
Virus scanners usually don't affect javascripted sites...... But if you're running Norton, you might consider switching to Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free and after after all, since MS did write XP, they probably got the virus program right If you do decide to remove Norton, you have to go to Nortons site to get the instructions to uninstall. you cannot just do it from Windows.
