Got to love AC problems

So I have a visible pinhole leak in one of my AC lines that runs from front to back. I have a call in to Ed to give a price on all the lines. Nothing like corrosion to ruin your day....

I just put in a splice pipe 5/8"ID and some clamps and recharged it. But it was the low pressure line..Not sure if it would hold on the high pressure side.

If you have to add refrigerant to the ac then there is a leak. These systems are sealed. The main place to look for and test with a soap solution would be compressor seals between pulley and comp. on the passenger side wher the evap is where hoses are bolted on. I had a leak there got it fixed and the place added som dyed refrigeran to my ac so if I have another leak I should be able to find it easily.
