Question Steering wheel fit

Quick question regarding power steering conversion. The column I'll be using for my power steering conversion is from a 73. Will my 66 wheel fit on here? I really don't want to use a later model or aftermarket wheel if I don't have to. Thanks for any help here.

I think it will bolt on but the collar may not match up. Someone who knows for sure will answer, hang in there.

Why not give it a try? Even if it works, you won't know how it looks until you try it...

I just looked up steering wheel adapters for aftermarket Grant steering wheels, and 66-73 use the same kit. So I would bet your 66 wheel will work on the 73 column.

It's been few yrs., with p/s upgrade on the 65 since it has the T18 4speed so kept the original column and used the shorter later model steering shaft; unfortunately can't remember what yr. column the donon column was salvaged from, but was able to swap the steering wheel; see from members comments if donor was pre 73 can see why. If there is a problem, wonder if possible to take the original steering shaft and shorten it and used in the later model column.

Thanks for the help guys...just debating buying a new reprod. wheel as mine is junk. Trying to go back as stock as possible with a few exceptions. Schuyles, where are you in Knoxville? Didn't know I had a neighbor here.
