HELP ! Z bar problem
Another question on the '74 360 into '78 F350 swap I am doing.
I got down to getting the engine ready to pull and found another "little" problem to deal with.
Seems the the Z bar pivot ball is mounted on a 351m/400 specific bracket that bolts to the aft face of the bellhousing, using the engine/bellhousing bolts.
I guess I need an FE specific bracket to go on the 360 bellhousing to make this work.
Are those as hard to find as the rest of the stuff I finally laid hands on?
Would anyone have a fab drawing from which to build one?
Thanks,
Mike
I was hoping the 400 bracket was to adapt the newer block to the FE condition, but nooo...
I design aircraft components, attachments and brackets, etc. for a living, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle, just one more than I wanted.
Thanks,
Mike
