just got off the phone with ats. been waiting for a month for them to get their turbo turndown in..... decided today to tear my turbo out so i can get ready for it and run the intercooler piping. call ats after their lunch break to order that and the downpipe and NO! they said the ones they got in are "tooled wrong" so its gonna be til the middle of july until they get more in to sell. i need one please! anyone know where i can find one. ive looked all over, been checking ebay for 8 months and havent found one yet. im all ready for it, cut my exhaust downpipe off and everything. im not going to the idi event if my truck is down..... anyone..... please?

Yeah I talked with ATS about 2 weeks ago and also got the "on backorder till 'mid July" so I was pleased to find the turbo I got from the junkyard already had the 3" turndown on it and the top 6-10" of downpipe. I'm not going to bother buying another down pipe I don't think, I'll just get some 3" exhaust pipe and bends and finish running it down and then run 3.5" out the back.
Sucks that ya got it all taken apart and cut up for it though.. perhaps you could weld the downpipe back together for the time being?

Maybe you can 'roll your own' Garrett Internal wastegate valve T3 5Bolt TO 3" V BAND: eBay Motors (item 160423097322 end time Jun-11-10 10:31:45 PDT)
though by the time you're done you'll be around the cost of the ATS kit.
A used one about to go out for a volvo, not sure how many " output though.. Garrett wastegate gate T3: eBay Motors (item 130391102060 end time May-19-10 20:05:00 PDT)

Just looking, that might work with a Power Stroke 3" down pipe.

Two piece down pipe, this is what I just put on my Stroke.
You may have to drive down to Ward Road and choke someone at ATS.

i dont wanna try and play guess work. i need this to fit and be done lol. under normal conditions i wouldnt sweat it much but i gotta get this thing goin asap. i wanna make it to the rally but ive got a ton more i wanna do to her before i take the trip. still nobody knows where i can get an ats setup other then straight from them? nobody knows of a place that holds them on the shelf? THERES A FINDERS FEE FOR WHOEVER CAN FIND ME ONE

im not wanting a downpipe. i want the housing that bolts to the back of the turbo, the cast piece that turns down 90 degrees with the 3" opening. ats has the downpipe in stock.... just not the turndown.
