wheel spacers
well due to me not having time to find a solution to the tires rubbing on the air bags i installed i went with the easy fix and put on a wheel spacer. it is about 1/8 in or so.... i think. its placed behind the wheel and is just held on with the wheel. what are the cons to something like this? i dont plan on leaving them on so long, just until i can get some rims with enough backspacing. these were 30 bucks and the quickest fix for the moment so i really couldn't argue.

No problem. As long as you tightened the wheels down evenly and check the lug nut torque occasionally you will be fine. Those thin spacers are usually made out of cast aluminum which is pretty brittle. So tightening the wheels down evenly is pretty important or you can crack the spacer.
