around 2k, I put VHT on my headers 250 miles ago
took them off the truck they were not painted before they were rusty
cleaned them off with break cleaner
hung them up
painted them with a can or two of VHT black
installed them 2 days later
1 day later started up the engine
it was 10-80% humidity the whole time
havent seen any flake or fade yet only 250 miles but I assume its on there good.

Not too long ago I installed headers on my 302, they come with a black cheap coating for shipping purposes only and need to be sanded off which I did. I then sprayed them with the VHT high temp black and now 700 miles later I have areas burnt off down to the metal. I'm about to send them off to be Jet-Hot coated and be done with it..
