DPFE sensor pic

Does anyone have pic of a DPFE sensor? For those of you who remember, yes I'm still working on my 95 F-150 with the 302 auto. Haven't had the money to fix lately and now I've got a little saved to try and fix it. Some say it's running rich, some say it's running lean. It sometimes stumbles or hesitates under light acceleration with or without the engine light on. I just took off the TB and cleaned the crap out it and inside the upper intake. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Not sure on that either, but I looked at my engine again and the way it's described with 2 bolts holding it and 2 hoses going into it, it looks like it may be in front of the TAD/TAB sensors.

Did you click on my link, look at the images of the various DPFE sensors there?

Two hoses would suggest a DPFE sensor but it might be the EVR you're looking at.

Anyway you can post a picture of what you're looking at? or find an image of it on the web to post a link to?

I'm not real familiar with the lighter duty models with the 302 of that model year so I can't say with 100% certainty some of them use a DPFE or not, I don't believe they do in a 95 but I could be wrong.

That's the vac solenoid. The DPFE would be on it's own bracket but close to the EGR to the left of the intake, right of the EGR itself and above where the heater hoses connect to the water pump. I'm not sure you have one, though it's possible. My '95 302 used an EVP, which was a plastic module that screwed into the top of the EGR valve itself. It had a little metal shaft that came out the bottom to register the valve going up and down. Do you see anything like that screwed into the top of the EGR valve or is it just the metal valve by itself?

dpfe sensor on my 96 is on the upper intake just above dizzy cap to the right of throttle body. that shouldnt really make it run bad. my lightwas on for a few years because the origanl sensors were metal and corroded, replacement one usuallyplastic. could be bad tps maybe?

The F-series 95 did not have a DPFE sensor they had the EVP.
You are reading the wrong code meaning.
Read the one for the EVP and not the one for the DPFE.

I replaced the TPS and the EVP solenoid. I think I have it narrowed down to the EVR, I going to get it today and try it. I replaced it 2 years ago, but from what I hear they go bad quite often. Thanks for the help and will let you know how it goes

The EVP is a sensor on top of the EGR valve.
The EVR solenoid is on the back of the drivers side of the engine.

Just replaced the evr and still nothing, still running bad . It's getting better, the hesitation is not as harsh. So I'm making a little head way.

Just ran codes again and I got a 334, 538, 536, 632. On the 334, why would there be to much voltage going to my EVP solenoid. Also got a 174 or a 172( didn't write them down right away), but now their not showing when I pulled codes again to double check. The 632, can't explain that one. No offense to anyone , but if anybody could explain it either Subford or Conaski could. Thanks

No not offended, just making a point.

Hard to help someone that won't help themselves, subford and conaski can hold this ones hand, makes no difference to me.

I didn't mean anything by it, I've talked to them before and they always have a lot of technical info that most don't. If you have anything I sure would appreciate it and I have been trying to help myself. Been all over the internet looking for answers and trying not to bug others about my problems with my truck, sometimes I got no choice though. Thank you for the help you've given, it is appreciated and would be more than welcome.
