Got another truck
I will be getting another 89 ford truck. This one is a 1 ton 4X4 with the 5.8. It starts good when cold, will not start when hot. When you try to start it when it is hot all you will get is a growl from the starter. It has a new starter and new battery and battery cables. It also has a minor coolant leak that I need to track down.
All in all it is not to bad an old truck. I was going to get it for parts, I figured it was wort the $800 to used for parts for my current 89. But when I was looking at it he told me that it had not been touched for almost a year and it started right up I started to think it would be a good truck to repair and use.
So with that said, does anyone have an idea what the starting problem may be? Shaun
