2003 f150 4x4 leaf spring transfer
The Back end would bottom out with 1 yard of loom.
I couldn't have that, so I bought some Timbrens, $50.
Simple bolt on items.
Timbrens took away the extra weight from the leaf springs.
Truck didn't bottom out any more.
Then the tires became the weak link.
So, I bought some 'C' rated LT tires for a heavier payload.
(Happened to need tires then, too.)
Now I have 'E' rated LT tires.
The truck does not bottom out with a yard of stone.
Niiiiice.
That could be an option for you.
Good luck.
Oof.
Here's the place I got my Timbrens from...
STENGEL BROS. Inc.
They also have heavy duty leaf srpings for our truck.
Heavy Duty Truck Leaf Steel Springs. These extra heavy duty leaf springs carry more weight than the original springs.
They offer two choices.
I feel they are pretty reputable.
There a some other F150 forums around, too.
Sorry... F150online.com has some references, too.
good luck.

anyone know if you can put f 250 rear springs under my f150 for a higher payload?
